Oh to be back...

I think I would like to revive this blog...if anything, as a journal to myself. I went through my postings a few days ago. It's strange how a random little blurb of thoughts can transport you back to a time and place. Although reading many of my posts took me to a place in my past that I am very comfortable in never revisiting again, It's nice to read through them and see that I am in a much better state now.

I cringe to go back and see the silly pictures of myself twirling around in my room. Alas...that was me, and that was what I did :p

I'd like to move forward now and begin posting again. I'd like to share more about myself, the things that I am doing, the things that make me smile, and the things that I think are beautiful. Who knows, maybe I'll post new twirling pics...or not ;)

Hi there. I've been having strange nights of deep sleep followed by nights of full wakefulness. I wish my body would just make up its mind. I sometimes stay up, listen to itunes and revisit artists/songs I havent given time to in a while. The other night I listened to Julieta Venegas. Listening only reminded me how beautiful she is. She also plays a mean accordion, has awesome sense of style, and is a new mommy. She's just cute, talented, lovely, etc etc....

Anywho, one thing I really love about Julieta are her music videos. They seem always emit such a vibrancy and happiness. Mostly, I love the beginning of her "Bien o Mal" video- its just a little hopeful. Also, the lovely waify girls, the airy dresses and the flowers are all nice to look at of course. I would post the entire video, but after a while, it tapers off to uncomfortableness. The beginning shots will have to suffice.

My Meewa

I always talk about kitties here but never my own. Meet Martin-- She's a feisty little brat with a passion for snuggling. She's as light as a feather and a quick little runner. She is extremely vocal and has just about the sweetest, tiniest meow you've ever heard. Best of all, when ever I'm feeling sick, Martin will always be the first to lay with me and give me comfort.

I love you my dear Martin. Never change.

I'm feeling like a massive blahhhh. Every step I take makes me feel like my brain is about to slip out through my nose. Pictures of silly kittens make me feel better. At least a little...

Summerspace & dance

Sometimes I wish I knew how to dance. I guess for a person as graceless and uncoordinated as I am that's kinda impossible. It doesn't mean I can't appreciate it however. I love images of these dances choreographed by Merce Cunningham. His work was pretty brilliant.

Sandrine Bonnaire is just perfection in it. I would basically wear everything that she wears. Her hair is utter sweetness too. So much love.

Speaking of other things that I love. My sister finally managed to catch a little kitten who's been lingering around our home for the past week. Poor little thing has been well fed and petted with care. I hope a home is out there somewhere for him. =^.^=
